Formed by longtime friends Lynn Nicholson and Jon Swain, Debutants have crafted a unique sound blending folk, bluegrass, Irish music, rock, and jam band influences. Their music is filled with energy, collaboration, and passion, as heard on their Indiana Newgrass – EP (2021) and Nobody Knows – EP (2022).
Opener – The Dangling Participles
Lansing’s own Dangling Participles bring a mix of indie folk, Americana, jazz, and pop, featuring rich harmonies and lively instrumentation. Known for their engaging performances, they won Lansing City Pulse’s "Top of the Town" award for Best Folk Artist/Band and have released two albums, Present (2018) and One More Drop (2022).
