Join us for Rock the Vote, an unforgettable night of live music bringing together some of Michigan’s most exciting and in-demand artists for an evening built on connection, energy, and community participation.

This special showcase features four standout bands and artists—each bringing their own unique sound and following:

Mark Lavengood will host and perform alongside Grammy-winning bluegrass artist Billy Strings at the inaugural Ionia Freak Fair on August 28–29, 2026 at the Ionia County Fairgrounds in Ionia, Michigan. Lavengood delivers roots-driven Americana with unmatched musicianship and feel-good stage energy, known across Michigan and beyond for his dynamic performances and collaborative spirit.

Wild Honey Collective, a rising Michigan roots powerhouse, blends folk, country rock, and psychedelic influences into an electric live experience shaped by years of nonstop touring and festival stages across the Midwest.

Bleau Otis McCray, a fast-rising blues guitarist and songwriter carrying forward a powerful family legacy in modern blues while carving out his own distinctive voice on stage.

Kevin Rousse and Mighty Medicine round out the lineup with high-energy, genre-blending performances rooted in rock, soul, blues, and improvisation, bringing raw live energy and deep local roots to the stage.

This night isn’t about politics—it’s about participation, presence, and making sure your voice is part of the process. Whether you’re already engaged or still deciding, this is a space to show up, enjoy incredible live music, and be reminded that civic engagement starts with simply being in the room.

Great music. Great community. One powerful night you won’t want to miss.
