A Lansing Legend. A Latin Music Celebration. One Unforgettable Night.

For more than 40 years, Mike Eyia has been bringing the heart and soul of Cuban music to Mid-Michigan. Born in Havana, he founded Orquesta Ritmo (The RITMO Project) to share the rich traditions of Latin music, dance, and culture—and has since become one of the region's most influential cultural leaders.

From sharing the stage with artists like Los Lobos, Oscar D'León, Pete Escovedo, Wycliffe Gordon, and The Bangles, to helping shape Lansing's jazz and arts community, Mike's impact reaches far beyond the stage. As a founder of Jazz JAMM and longtime advocate for Latino arts, his mission has always been to educate, inspire, and celebrate culture through music.

This isn't just another concert—it's a chance to experience the rhythms, history, and energy that have made Mike Eyia and The RITMO Project a Michigan institution. If you love live music that moves both your feet and your soul, you won't want to miss this one.
