Tectis is an independent electronic musician characterized by his experimental approach to pushing genre boundaries and his deep exploration of synthesizers, which he uses to craft unique textures that amplify his genre-defying vision.
Double bassist Charlie Snyder was performed with the Jazz Band of America in 2024. He currently plays in the Jazz Orchestra 2 at Michigan State University. Charlie is Pursuing both a jazz studies degree under prof. Rodney Whitaker and a music education degree.
Sam Gucwa was trained in the Denver underground scene and composes music with a bold and eclectic style with free jazz influence. Her debut album explores the influence of Miles Davis’ romantic interests on his career success and will release this winter.
Jackson Hacias’s debut album, Lord of the Guide, features complex melodic interplay and thought-provoking melodies. Brought up in the Cincinnati jazz scene, this performance will be his UrbanBeat debut.
