The Collective is a band of experienced Lansing musicians who share a love for the Motown sound and R&B. The amazing lineup of musicians are bass man “Sam I Am” Warren holding down the bottom. JD Detweiler is kickin’ it and stickin’ it on his kit. Hard rockin’ lead guitarist David Snell sings it like he means it. Keyboardist Richard Wolfolk floats the melodies beautifully. Laurie Wrage DeBruin’s contralto vocals are driving and intentional. Singer Hedda Doyle is a harmony goddess.
